Objectives

Our objective for the Graduate Program in Food, Nutrition and Health is to prepare masters and doctors with technical and scientific competence to identify and propose solutions for contemporary food and nutritional problems. Also, our purpose is to provide them with the ability to apply the scientific method in health, food and nutrition research. 
 
Therefore, PPGANS trains graduated nutritionists and other professionals from healthcare or other related areas in food science and nutrition research and higher education teaching methodologies. In this sense, our researchers achieve competences, abilities and autonomy in the process of planning, implementation and dissemination of relevant research in food and nutrition security.
